This is based on an interview with an animal researcher who has a pet cat. The disregard for the animals she's experimenting on but love for her own cat bothered and confused me so for my second year project I made a comic/poster about her. Stanley Milgram's research was the most useful for understanding how humans compartmentalise their emotions.

Leading on in the same vein as the previous poster, this one is about Japans horrifyingly awful experiments during World War 2 on Chinese civilians, Unit 731. Surprisingly, a lot of people do not know about this and Japan still do not admit to any of this even happening, so I thought it would be interesting to produce a poster about a (made up but well researched) persons experience of Unit 731. Produced using a screen print background with pencil drawings layered in Photoshop.

This was for a group project with collective Beddow and Battini. We were paired with a poet and given somewhere in London to illustrate.

The only constraint given was that there had to be a fox featured somewhere in your illustration.

As the story developed, I decided the character was on a bad trip from some hallucinogenics and becoming increasingly more intense about her situation. Her friend, the fox, isn't real either.

A comic project I am working on about about dreams

For a group project with Beddow and Battini I was given Highbury & Islington to illustrate. Although this picture could be any park or greenery, growing up in the area, I frequently visited Highbury Fields and this is what I think of when I think of Highbury.
